Life Span of Ubuntu 20.4

Like previous versions of Ubuntu, this will also version will also fulfill its 5 years which is April of 2025. The same will happen to the next version of Ubuntu. Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon 64 X2 AM2 or better

Memory: 4 GB RAM or more

Storage: 5+ GB of free storage

Since you are going to use the ISO Image of Ubuntu on your VMware, then you will need to increase the specs given above.

For the processor, you will need more than Intel Core Duo. Intel Core i3 is better, instead of 4 GB RAM, try to have 8 GB of RAM memory. For virtualization, you will need more than 5 GB of storage. As Ubuntu alone takes 5 GB, you will need at least 15 GB of free storage too. As you have already download the ISO Image of Ubuntu, you won’t need any internet connection.
